She said: “I hate you!”
“I don’t care!” He replied.
“So why are you still here?” She asked.
“Just a matter of habit!” He whispered.
She walked towards the bathroom.
He walked to the door.
She ran the bath.
He ran to the bar.
She started to cry.
He started to sigh.
She looked at her phone If he called.
He looked at the girl at the next stool If she is with anyone.
“I hate you!” She shouted on her own.
“Would you like to get out of here?” He whispered to her ears.
No one replied back to her in the bathroom.
The girl at the next stool replied: “No.”
She left the bathroom to go to bed.
He left the bar to get to another one.
She slept.
He didn’t.
She was unhappy but comfortable.
He was relieved but vulnerable.
