While some may have achieved the coveted roles of astronauts or doctors, they are not the focus of our tale.

Instead, our contemporary heroes emerge as pop stars, footballers, and social media icons. We idolize them, following their every move with a sense of reverence. They transport us momentarily from our own lives, inviting us to envision a world of expensive meals, lavish houses, and flashy cars.

Yet, the harsh light of morning after indulging in paparazzi shows and MTV Cribs-like TV reveals a different reality. We wake up to the jarring sound of an alarm clock, commute to work using public transport, and settle into mundane desks where phones relentlessly ring, dictating our actions. It’s in that moment you grasp the truth – you’re not in a phone booth, taking off your glasses and changing into a superhero costume to save the world. Instead, you’re just another individual in a cubicle, answering phones and navigating the complexities of everyday life.
