Imagine life as a piece of string stretched between two sticks—probably quite tense. Over time, it inevitably splits due to the accumulating tension, and you find yourself knotting it back together. However, each time you do, the string becomes shorter, increasing the tightness. At this point, all you can do is sit and wait for it to split again. The difference now is that, being shorter, it happens more quickly, and you have to knot it again. It becomes increasingly challenging to bring the tips together, but you manage once more. Yet, this cycle repeats endlessly until the string becomes too short to reconnect the tips. Then, you must let go of everything. This is when you lose the sense of caring. So, why not just say ‘f*ck it all!’ now and live our lives as they come?
